Between one round of Girls Traveling Around the World and the next, this is worth knowing: By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor.
