Fun Choir

A strange little side quest

Even a quick game like Fun Choir sits on top of decades — and sometimes centuries — of ideas. Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. That gives Fun Choir a little more company than it first appears to have.
