A strange little side quest
Flux Arrow Puzzle may feel immediate, but the ideas around archery have been evolving for a very long time. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. The same trail leads to another fact: Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
