A strange little side quest
If Eggstinction sends you down a curiosity rabbit hole, start here. Paleontologists can learn about ancient animals from much more than complete skeletons: fossilized plants, insects, tracks and other remains all add pieces to the story. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Early computer role-playing games helped turn rules, inventories, exploration and character progression into systems that could support long-form digital adventures. That gives Eggstinction a little more company than it first appears to have.
