A strange little side quest

The mechanics around Dutch Shuffleboard have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That is only half the story. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
