A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Finish the Drawing is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. And then there is this: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
