A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Duo Ball Adventure, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Early computer role-playing games helped turn rules, inventories, exploration and character progression into systems that could support long-form digital adventures. The same trail leads to another fact: Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
