A strange little side quest
Decor: My Cat Cafe belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Electric refrigeration reached the American mass market in the late 1920s, changing how households stored food and even how desserts such as ice cream could be made at home. That is only half the story. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
