A strange little side quest
Commission Hell has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. The Oregon Trail eventually appeared across generations of computer hardware and sold tens of millions of copies, making it one of the most enduring educational games.
