A strange little side quest
One reason sports history keeps producing good game ideas around Coconut Volley is that its history is full of strange turns. Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
