Put City Bike Stunt next to the history of racing and a few unexpected connections appear. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. That is only half the story. Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
