A strange little side quest

A little context makes Drift Revolution more fun to place on the gaming map. Silverstone hosted the first Formula 1 World Championship round on May 13, 1950. A second detail makes the picture even better: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
