A quick detour while Chaos War waits for your next move: Arthur Wynne published a diamond-shaped 'Word-Cross' in the New York World on December 21, 1913; the name later shifted to 'Cross-Word' and then 'crossword'. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Boxing was part of the ancient Olympic Games by 688 BC, long before gloves, weight classes, or timed rounds existed in anything like their modern form. That gives Chaos War a little more company than it first appears to have.
