A strange little side quest
Cave Buster belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. That is only half the story. By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. So a round of Cave Buster is not just a quick distraction; it is a tiny stop on a much longer food history timeline.
