A strange little side quest
Call of Zombies has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That is only half the story. Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Call of Zombies feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
