A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Bunny Cakes! have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Electric refrigeration reached the American mass market in the late 1920s, changing how households stored food and even how desserts such as ice cream could be made at home. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
