Here is a rabbit hole for the next loading screen in Bloody Archers: A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers.
