A strange little side quest

Barbarian Hunter HTML5 has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Games resembling checkers were being played thousands of years ago; evidence of related games reaches back to around 1600 BC. And then there is this: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That long chain of experiments is part of why strategy games still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
