GROMBI FACT DROPREAL-WORLD TRIVIA
A strange little side quest
A quick detour while Backyard Hoops waits for your next move: The earliest basketball games used peach baskets, and Naismith wrote 13 original rules for the new indoor sport. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
What you are getting into
Play as Tom and you will be throwing basketball shots at the hoops. Try getting big combos of hits, one goal after the other, so that you get special balls that will multiply your score even more. To make things harder, the hoop will change places at times, and Jerry might try to defend your shots as well. Try to get past that, because if you miss three shots, you will lose, and will have to start again from scratch, from zero points.
