A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around AZ is anything but tiny. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at AZ feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
