A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind All Seasons Diva is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Barbie Fashion Designer became a major software hit in 1996, selling more than 500,000 copies in two months and proving there was a large audience for fashion-focused computer play. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That long chain of experiments is part of why fashion and style still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
