The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. The first crossword puzzle book appeared in 1924 in a cautious initial printing of 3,600 copies, complete with a free pencil. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Zombie Dating Agency feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
