A strange little side quest
Voxel Front 3D belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Space Invaders arrived in 1978 and helped turn electronic games from an arcade curiosity into mainstream entertainment. It also connects to a different milestone: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Voxel Front 3D feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
