A strange little side quest
The next time Turn and Hit asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Turn and Hit feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
