A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Turbotastic, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Turbotastic feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
