A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Stylin Stuff: Pedicure is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. That is only half the story. Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. Grombi files that under: small game, surprisingly large backstory.
