A strange little side quest

Zoom out from Solitaire Reverse for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. And then there is this: Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. That gives Solitaire Reverse a little more company than it first appears to have.
