The next time Soccer Training asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Association football's first unified Laws of the Game were drawn up in London in 1863. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Basketball became an Olympic medal sport in 1936, while women’s basketball joined the Olympic programme in 1976. That gives Soccer Training a little more company than it first appears to have.
