A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Sniper Duel Arena. Modern chess traces back to the Indian game chaturanga, recorded around the sixth century and built around pieces representing parts of an army. And then there is this: Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
