Snake Attack

A strange little side quest

There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Snake Attack. Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. And the history keeps stacking up: Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
