A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Sift Heads World Act. By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Sift Heads World Act feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
