A strange little side quest
Between one round of Russian Drift: Overtaking in the City and the next, this is worth knowing: Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That long chain of experiments is part of why racing still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
