A strange little side quest

The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Run is anything but tiny. Sonic the Hedgehog launched in 1991 and turned speed itself into a defining platform-game mechanic. The same trail leads to another fact: A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That gives Run a little more company than it first appears to have.
