A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Rubble Trouble Tokyo. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. And the history keeps stacking up: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That long chain of experiments is part of why racing still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
