A strange little side quest
Renegade-Racing belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. A top Formula 1 tyre stop can happen in under two seconds; McLaren set a 1.80-second pit-stop record. It also connects to a different milestone: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
