A strange little side quest
One reason racing keeps producing good game ideas around Raceday is that its history is full of strange turns. A top Formula 1 tyre stop can happen in under two seconds; McLaren set a 1.80-second pit-stop record. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
