Pregnant Mother Spa Salon may feel immediate, but the ideas around fashion and style have been evolving for a very long time. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. It also connects to a different milestone: Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. That long chain of experiments is part of why fashion and style still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
