A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Poopy Adventures, here is a piece of the bigger picture. By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. That gives Poopy Adventures a little more company than it first appears to have.
