A strange little side quest

The next time Pluso asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. So a round of Pluso is not just a quick distraction; it is a tiny stop on a much longer puzzles timeline.

What you are getting into

Pluso is a vibrant casual puzzle game where every tap matters. On a 5×5 grid, tap any tile to raise its number by one. When 3 or more connected tiles share the same value, they clear in a satisfying chain reaction: matched tiles vanish, the tapped tile upgrades, and new tiles drop in. Chains continue until the board settles, rewarding you with bonus moves and huge combos. You start with 5 moves. Each match restores +1 move (up to 5), so smart play keeps you alive. In Timed Mode, you get 60 seconds with the clock pausing during chain reactions so animations never waste time. In Unlimited Mode, there’s no timer at all and play until your moves run out. The deeper your chains, the higher tile values climb, unlocking fresh colors and massive scores. Can you top your best run?
