A strange little side quest
Plants vs Aliens belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. The same trail leads to another fact: Modern chess traces back to the Indian game chaturanga, recorded around the sixth century and built around pieces representing parts of an army. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
