A strange little side quest
Pinky's Pancake has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. It also connects to a different milestone: During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
