A strange little side quest
Peace Queen Cup Korea has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. The first penalty shoot-out in World Cup history came in the 1982 semi-final between West Germany and France. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. That gives Peace Queen Cup Korea a little more company than it first appears to have.
