A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Paint Swipe 3D. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. A second detail makes the picture even better: Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. Grombi files that under: small game, surprisingly large backstory.
