A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Obby +1 Power have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. It also connects to a different milestone: Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
