A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Neon Racer Html5 is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. That long chain of experiments is part of why racing still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
