A strange little side quest
Here is a rabbit hole for the next loading screen in My Puzzle Html5: Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: The Oregon Trail began in 1971 when three student teachers created a computer simulation to help Minnesota schoolchildren learn American history. That long chain of experiments is part of why puzzles still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
