A strange little side quest
Motocross Trials belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Formula 1 introduced pit-lane speed limits during the 1994 season as safety concerns grew around increasingly fast cars and busier pit lanes. The timeline takes another interesting turn: Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Motocross Trials feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
