A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Moley the Purple Mole for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Boxing was part of the ancient Olympic Games by 688 BC, long before gloves, weight classes, or timed rounds existed in anything like their modern form. A second detail makes the picture even better: Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares.
