Zoom out from Mega Mechs for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. A second detail makes the picture even better: Boxing entered the modern Olympic Games in 1904 at St. Louis. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
