A strange little side quest
One reason strategy games keeps producing good game ideas around Manga RPG is that its history is full of strange turns. Chess changed dramatically in Europe during the 15th and 16th centuries when the queen became the board's most powerful piece. And then there is this: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Manga RPG a little more company than it first appears to have.
